A batch of ZEEKR 9X vehicles set sail from Fuzhou Port for the UAE on Sept 22, marking the first large-scale export of the Chinese automaker's flagship SUV to the country.

ZEEKR ranked first among Chinese premium brands in exports from January to August, with the 9X receiving more than 700 orders in the UAE. In China, it ranked near the top in three-year resale value and net promoter score (NPS) among large SUVs priced between 500,000 yuan ($70,000) and 1 million yuan. Its price in Europe is close to 1 million yuan, while a customized version developed by Mansory costs more than 2.7 million yuan overseas.

Other ZEEKR models have also gained traction overseas. In China, the ZEEKR 009 led the market for electric MPVs priced above 400,000 yuan for four consecutive months and ranked first in its segment by sales in Hong Kong, Thailand, and Malaysia from January to August. The ZEEKR 7X also surpassed 200,000 global deliveries.

ZEEKR now operates in more than 60 countries and regions, with nearly 800 stores. It plans to introduce the 9X to more markets in the Middle East, Central Asia, Latin America, and Europe.

The Jiangyin Port Area of Fuzhou Port handled 68,000 exported vehicles this year, up 28-fold year-on-year, and expects the figure to reach 100,000 by the end of 2026.
