Nearly 1,500 companies from Fujian province will attend the 140th China Import and Export Fair (Canton Fair), opening Oct 15 in Guangzhou, Guangdong province. About 400 are national-level "little giant" enterprises and national high-tech enterprises.

The delegation brings together seasoned exhibitors and emerging exporters. Fujian Metals & Minerals IMP & EXP has participated in more than 50 editions, while nearly 100 foreign trade companies will debut products developed in-house. Tsann Kuen Group secures more than $10 million in orders at each edition, and Profit Culture & Creative Group takes Chinese cultural products to overseas markets while bridging creative design and home furnishings.

Innovation and sustainability will feature prominently. QILOO Intelligent will unveil smart running shoes with intelligent temperature control. Wilton Industries will present its lava tableware series, made from recycled melamine resin powder — a solution to a technical challenge in recycling thermosetting resins.

Since 2021, Fujian companies have won seven gold, 17 silver, and 35 bronze awards at the Canton Fair Design Award (CF Award). The delegation has also received the fair's best organization award for seven consecutive years.

Beyond showcasing products, the delegation will host an investment promotion meeting with major companies including Midea, TCL Technology Group, and Hisense. It will spotlight Fujian's ceramics, electrical machinery and appliances, and massage equipment industries to connect local manufacturers with overseas buyers and potential investors.
