The Eighth Silk Road International Film Festival concluded on Dec 12 in Fuzhou, East China's Fujian province. 

The five-day event aimed to promote cultural and people-to-people exchanges between China and countries and regions involved in the Belt and Road Initiative. 

A variety of activities were held including two forums, a promotional event and the awarding ceremony for the Golden Silk Road Award.
