World Maritime Equipment Conference to kick off in Fuzhou

The 2023 World Maritime Equipment Conference will take place in Fuzhou, Fujian province, from Oct 12 to 15.

Sponsored by the Fujian provincial government, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, and the Ministry of Transportation, the conference will showcase the latest achievements in ship and marine engineering equipment, facilitate equipment technology exchange and cooperation, and promote industrial exchanges and integration between China and other countries.

The conference will highlight national strategies and the advantages of Fujian province, and be focused on collaboration in industry and supply chain innovation, cooperation between academia and industry, talent exchange, transformation of achievements, as well as project signing and matchmaking negotiations.

Participants will include representatives from international organizations in the maritime field, major maritime equipment producers, and countries and regions involved in the Belt and Road Initiative.

The conference will consist of an opening ceremony, a main forum, six thematic forums, an achievement exhibition, and various activities. One of the highlights is the China Marine Equipment Expo.

The six thematic forums will feature comprehensive discussions on technological and cultural infrastructure. The achievement exhibition will showcase award-winning products, technologies, and solutions.
