Nordic artists recently visited the Jingu Xi'an Art Park in Anxi county, Quanzhou, East China's Fujian province, for an artistic exchange, immersing themselves in the unique cultural allure of Jingu town on March 27.

At the Jingu Xi'an Art Park, the Nordic artists, accompanied by Chen Wenling, a contemporary Chinese Neo-Realist artist and sculptor, explored the open-air art space, where sculpture seamlessly integrates with the natural landscape.

The park, funded by Chen, who is from Jingu town, merges large-scale modern sculptures with the natural environment, including banyan trees and lychee forests, providing a place for locals to relax and appreciate the scenic beauty of the Jingu riverside.

"Such beauty, such art, transcends borders and nationalities, dissolving distances between people. I believe beauty truly serves as a soothing remedy for the soul," explained Chen. According to him, the park was built in harmony with its surroundings. All designs are natural, following the concept of harmony between humanity and nature."

During the visit, a salon was held where artists engaged in discussions, initiating a cross-border, multicultural exchange blending traditional culture with modern art.

This endeavor represents an exploration of artistic empowerment in rural vitalization. The park aims to host a diverse array of salon events irregularly, activating rural resources with cultural and artistic elements and contributing to the creation of an artistic future for the countryside.
