Fuzhou international investment month attracts global players
The launch ceremony of the 2025 China Fuzhou International Investment Promotion Month and the Together for Prosperity in Fuzhou: Global Investment Promotion Conference took place on May 18 in Fuzhou, capital of Fujian province.
It attracted over 1,200 domestic and international business representatives and associations, including Fortune 500 executives and multinational corporations, exploring cooperation opportunities in sectors like new energy, logistics and green industries.
A highlight was the signing of 82 projects worth over 130 billion yuan ($18.03 billion), including 40 on-site deals such as a major Indonesia-China high-end aquatic products import and export trade project.
The projects span the marine economy, healthcare, the internet of things and new energy. The aim is to foster new quality productive forces and Fuzhou's industrial competitiveness.
The event also unveiled the "four chains integration public service platform", combining industry, innovation, talent and financial resources. That boasts over 700,000 pieces of data, policies, funds, talent and various resources at the national and municipal levels, to enhance overall policy and investment efficiency.
A special session promoted the China-Indonesia "Two Countries, Twin Parks" that showcased cross-border investment potential.
Running to June 18, the investment month features a global conference, two themed forums for overseas Chinese and international investors and 13 specialized investment sessions, aiming to attract more than 10,000 participants and consolidate Fuzhou's role as a key global business hub.
