With National Day and Mid-Autumn Festival approaching, Fujian is planning to promote cultural tourism consumption through a comprehensive six-point plan, featuring over 1,800 events and 300 consumer-friendly initiatives across the province.

Ticket-based discounts

Fujian is set to collaborate with over 130 scenic spots rated 4A-level and above, major business districts, specialty restaurants, boutique accommodations, and financial institutions to offer discounted tickets and promotions. This initiative will further enhance the tourist experience by providing additional discounts on consumption at designated merchants.

Performing arts empowerment

Fujian is streamlining online approvals for large concerts and major music festivals to attract more visitors and fulfill the dreams of fans both locally and nationally. A new tourism model, "daytime sightseeing, nighttime entertainment", will be introduced, and unique events, such as stand-up comedy shows and cultural performances on weekends, will be held throughout the province.

Cross-industry integration

Fujian is launching a "Fujian Film and TV IP Database" and a popular drama location map. This project will enable tourists to easily explore filming sites and enjoy film-themed experiences available in Xiamen, Pingtan, Taining, and other locations.

Cultural and creative products

A "Fujian Gifts" line of cultural and creative products, as well as specialty tourism items, is under development, with efforts underway to establish dedicated shopping areas for these products in all 5A-level tourist attractions.

Enhancing and expanding Fujian's shared spaces

The operating hours of 15 national nighttime cultural and tourism consumption hubs will be extended, including Fuzhou's Sanfang Qixiang, Xiamen's Zhongshan Road, Quanzhou's West Street, and Zhangzhou Ancient City.

Revitalizing offerings

Fujian is capitalizing on its autumn cultural and tourism resources by offering a diverse range of experiences. An eco-themed tour will connect attractions such as Wuyi Mountain, Taining Dajin Lake, and Fujian tulou, featuring autumn hiking, forest therapy, and world heritage experiences. An ancient village folk custom tour will also connect villages like Sanming's Guifeng, Ningde's Longtan, and Yongding's Chuxi, creating a picturesque autumn tourism landscape that offers a variety of activities, including rice terrace views, autumn harvest celebrations, and fruit picking.
