Digital summit to spotlight achievements, innovation, and ecosystem growth
The 9th Digital China Summit is scheduled to take place in Fuzhou, Fujian province, from April 29 to 30. The summit will feature over 50 dialogue and exchange activities, the Digital China Innovation Contest, and an on-site experience zone, alongside more than 100 special events.
This year's summit focuses on three key areas: showcasing achievement, unveiling new technologies, and fostering a thriving ecosystem.
The event will highlight landmark achievements of the Digital China construction with the release of the Digital China Development Report (2025) and the Digital China Development Index. Twelve ministries and agencies, including the National Bureau of Statistics and the Cyberspace Administration of China, will present over 30 major policies, reports, and standards related to the development of Digital China initiative.
Technological innovation will be spotlighted by nearly 400 companies, such as China Southern Power Grid, Alibaba, and ZTE. They will introduce the latest digital technologies in areas like chips, industry-specific large language models, and embodied intelligence.
More than 100 typical cases of data integration across sectors like agriculture, manufacturing, healthcare, and cultural tourism will be showcased, with over 65 percent of exhibits making their debut.
The prosperity of the digital industry ecosystem will be driven by four ecosystem conferences hosted by China Telecom, China Unicom, China Mobile, and Huawei, respectively, focusing on AI subfields. These events will gather over 400 enterprises in total to explore collaboration and shared development.
The summit will also highlight three key features: digital-intelligence integration, enterprise participation, and application-driven scenarios.
