The Xiamen Artificial Intelligence Industrial Belt (Maluan Bay Park) officially opened on April 10, marking a significant transition from planning to operational reality.

The park welcomed its first 12 high-tech companies, spanning sectors such as intelligent equipment, energy management, and digital media, and signed agreements with several strategic partners. With over 30 new quality productive forces enterprises and quality supporting businesses already on board, the park is establishing a robust industrial ecosystem.

As an extension of Xiamen Software Park Phase III, Maluan Bay Park builds on the park's established investment and operational models. It also benefits from the combined policy support of the Xiamen Torch Development Zone for High Technology Industries and Jimei district. The park aims to closely integrate with Xiamen Software Park, focusing on "AI empowerment and software-hardware integration" by combining software algorithms with hardware manufacturing and intelligent terminals to strengthen Xiamen's AI industry chain.

"Industry-driven development" is key to Maluan Bay's high-quality growth. Strategically positioned within the city's industrial layout, the new town is accelerating the development of three modern industrial systems: smart technology, life health, and business tourism.

Following successful environmental governance and management, the town plans to have blue-green spaces covering 35 percent of its total area, with 1,839 hectares dedicated to the purpose. It boasts a per capita park green space of 18 square meters and an urban green coverage rate exceeding 50 percent. As one investor noted, "Ecological benefits are the best business environment and one of Maluan Bay New Town's most compelling strengths."
