The 2026 China Fuzhou International Investment Promotion Month and the 28th Cross-Strait Fair for Economy and Trade (CFEF) will be held in Fuzhou from May 21 to June 21.

This year's event is structured around a "2+5+N" framework. The "2" refers to two main events: the launch of the Investment Promotion Month and the Together for Prosperity in Fuzhou: Global Investment Promotion Conference, as well as the opening ceremony of CFEF. The "5" includes themed investment activities targeting overseas Chinese businesses, central and State-owned enterprises, foreign enterprises, Taiwan enterprises, and private enterprises. The "N" represents various investment promotion activities for the key industries of 12 counties, cities, and districts, the second Cross-Strait Industrial Development Conference, and other events.

During the fair, Fuzhou will unveil the third batch of policies for the "Fuzhou-Matsu same-city living circle", aimed at creating a shared market with Taiwan, fostering innovation in Taiwan enterprises, and improving convenience for Taiwan residents.

The event will feature a 40,000-square-meter exhibition space for trade and industry cooperation, offering 10 promotion and experience areas focusing on topics such as Taiwan industrial technology and youth entrepreneurship. Additionally, there will be five supporting service and interactive zones, including cross-Strait financial services, digital communication, and live-streaming e-commerce. A total of 362 cross-Strait enterprises will participate, providing a robust platform for trade and economic exchanges.

To date, over 1,000 participants have confirmed their attendance, including representatives from more than 70 Taiwan business groups, Fortune Global 500 companies, China's top 500 enterprises, leading private enterprises, and influential overseas Chinese and foreign business leaders.
