As Fujian and Ningxia mark 30 years of cooperation in 2026, a Xiamen media delegation visited the Ningxia Hui autonomous region from June 23 to 27 for a reporting trip.

The trip brought together more than 20 journalists from 12 national, provincial, and municipal media outlets. They visited over 20 sites in Pengyang county, Jingyuan county, and Minning town, which is paired with Xiamen under the Fujian-Ningxia cooperation program.

In Pengyang county, journalists reported on a supply chain managed by a Xiamen state-owned enterprise and a laying hen breeding project that helped increase farmers' incomes. In Jingyuan county, they visited villages, agricultural processing facilities, a winter tourism project, and a relocated community.

In Minning town, reporters toured specialty livestock breeding projects and a modern industrial park, the "See Minning Drama Village", which is scheduled to open on July 1. They also visited a feed production facility in the Minning Industrial Park, Ho-lan Soul (Ningxia) International Wineries in the eastern foothills of the Helan Mountains, and a "one village, one product" livestock breeding project.

The reporting trip focused on industrial cooperation, consumer support, rural vitalization, public welfare, and cultural exchanges. Throughout the trip, journalists interviewed officials, technical professionals, entrepreneurs, and local residents while covering cooperation projects across the region.
