China has launched the BRICS New Industry "Golden Egret" Excellence Scholarship, according to an announcement at the 17th BRICS Summit in July 2025. The initiative supports industry and telecommunications capacity building among BRICS nations.

In response to the consensus reached at the Summit, the BRICS Partnership on New Industrial Revolution (PartNIR) Innovation Center (BPIC)  launched the "Golden Egret" Scholarship, aiming to enhance "Greater BRICS Cooperation" and promote international cooperation on new industrialization.

Following a successful inaugural program in 2025, the second program, "2026 BPIC Training Program on Smart Manufacturing and Innovation-Driven Development (Spring Session)", will run from May 21 to June 5 in China. Participants will engage in lectures, seminars, and site visits in Xiamen, Hangzhou, and Shanghai, including visits to leading companies like Alibaba and Unitree Robotics. They will also attend key events such as the 2026 BRICS Forum on New Industrial Revolution.

The program offers insights into digital transformation, smart manufacturing, and green technologies, fostering collaboration and advancing "Greater BRICS Cooperation".

Applications for the "2026 BPIC Training Program on Smart Manufacturing and Innovation-Driven Development (Spring Session)" will remain open until Apr 5, 2026, for high-level talents from BRICS and partner nations. The scholarship covers all training costs. Talented professionals are encouraged to apply and contribute to a cooperative and prosperous future.
